Photography is a love of mine and has been as long as I                                    can remember. My Dad trekked all through Europe in                                        WWII with his Leica camera and has the most amazing

photos from that era. I followed my Dad's love for photography and have been photographing kids, families, and more for over 15 years and enjoy every minute.

 

I love providing people with the ability to freeze moments in their lives. Time flies by so fast, it's wonderful to freeze those moments we cherish, whether they are events and times in our lives we have to document like birthdays, engagement sessions, or a new baby. I like to remind people to not discount the everyday moments that we need to remember as well; that year your son lived in that weird swim hat and carried a ragged teddy bear or those awkward, in-between years when kids are turning into teens. It's all so fleeting. Capturing those moments is what I cherish. 

 

My style is more relaxed, less "posey" and more casual. My favorite photos are the ones where people forget I'm there and let their personalities shine through.

 

I'm a full-time mom to two, always a photographer, whether I'm working with a client or home with the kids; I'm always taking photos. I've been happy to take part in the World Wide Photowalk since 2010 and was so thankful when my photo received the "People's Choice" award as well as the first place photo within the group of very talented photographers on the Photowalk I attended at the California Railroad Museum in Sacramento, California.  A memorable moment for me was having my photo framed and hanging in an exhibit at the Railroad Museum in Old Sacramento.
